MATIN TARAZ
Matin Taraz has been involved in the design of high quality, custom residences in San Diego County for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Syracuse University School of Architecture and a San Diego resident since 1979. Working with prominent local architects in his early career helped him hone his skills in the design and construction of efficient structure that are both cost effective and environmentally well adjusted.
Winner of the 2008 Lily Award for “High Artistic Result” from Rancho Santa Fe Association, he draws inspiration from a myriad of architectural styles throughout the world in composing spaces that are as livable and comfortable as they are stylish and romantic. His quality of care and close interaction with clients, and consultants, is praised by those who have worked with him. He is charged with the design of a majority of Zinc’s projects and is deeply involved during the construction phase. Matin is licensed as an architect in the State of California.
FARSHID MOHSENI
A graduate of California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, with a Master of Architecture degree, Farshid has been a resident of San Diego County for the past 27 years. As a registered architect, Farshid has managed construction of state-of-the-art biotech, academic and industrial projects including the Pfizer La Jolla campus and Cleveland Clinic Foundation, while employed at some of the top consulting architectural firms in the San Diego area for the last 36 years.
As a licensed contractor, Farshid offers cost-estimates for repair recommendations, calculates allocation breakdowns and opines on standard of care for litigation support. As a seasoned architect with over 36 years of experience, he is actively involved in various project delivery methods, construction methodology, and all aspects of design, project planning and document development for a variety of complex building types. His experience uniquely qualifies him to manage construction activities at Zinc. His extensive expertise in construction management ensures that your project will be completed within the projected timeline, and within the estimated budget, while exceeding the finest expected construction quality.
